What week long blog exposition of London would be complete without Westminster Abbey? Perhaps my favorite tour for two reasons: 1) the history behind the Stone of Scone was fascinating and the stone wasn't even there [just a place under the throne for it], 2) when I asked the tour guide where Neville Chamberlain was buried, he didn't know because no one had ever asked before. For that last bit, the only reason I asked was because I was carrying a book about London during WWII, and it mentioned that he was buried somewhere on the church grounds. Well, just goes to show that the appeasement plan still isn't working for him.
